CLH facilities in Burgos

Servindustria 360 built the new oil storage and distribution facilities of the Hydrocarbon Logistics Company (CLH) in Burgos.

This new center, in which the company invested 29 million euros, is located on a plot of 150,000 square meters and consists of 14 tanks with a total capacity of 107,000 cubic meters. It is the most modern of all CLH plants and one of the largest in the community of Castilla y León.

The facilities, which are operational every day of the year 24 hours a day, have an automated tanker truck load with four islets and 16 cargo arms, where an average of 90 trucks can be supplied daily and about 26,000 a year. In addition, a connecting pipeline has been built – 450 meters long and 14 inches in diameter – that links the plant with the Madrid-Miranda pipeline that runs through the area. This storage center has the most modern safety systems and is equipped with prevention mechanisms, such as safety distances between tanks and watertight separation enclosures, as well as floating screens in tanks and anti-slip systems.

Moreover, the facilities were designed with the aim of minimizing any impact on the environment. To this end, it has several protection systems including a separate stormwater collection network from the hydrocarbon water network, hydrocarbon water treatment mechanism and vapor recovery unit.

The work consists of the following building elements:

  • Containment buckets.
  • Vials.
  • Foundations pumps and paving’s.
  • Drainage networks.
  • Electric pipelines.
  • Truck loading in prefabricated “RACK” structures.
  • Treatment raft.
  • Addictive snies.
